Mentoring Philosophy
Throughout my career, it has been a great experience working with students and helping them achieve their future goals. From helping them edit their graduate school or medical school essays to teaching them new concepts, I do my best to ensure that they get the individualized attention throughout their pursuits.
Fairness, rationality, and justice are points I believe in. Diversity of viewpoints has always been a focal point in my work. The foundation of science and mathematics emphasizes the importance of examining how different elements and approaches contribute to the path toward a solution.
We may not all hold similar viewpoints (and that's perfectly okay), but it is important to respect others' voices and work together democratically to achieve a desired goal. There are times when the opposition can help you see an issue from a different angle.
Regardless of your race, ethnicity, gender, political affiliation, sexual orientation, religious background, veteran status, educational status, disability, or any other status, I will always be happy to help you move forward in your career. Science, mathematics, and professional writing can be daunting enough as it is, why bring on more stress, right?
